The devices, treatments, and wellness services offered by Enlighten Med SPA & TAN are not intended to diagnose, cure, or prevent any disease and are not substitutes for appropriate medical care.
Our services may include PEMF therapy, infrared heat, light-based treatments, laser procedures, ultrasound treatments, UV tanning, and other aesthetic and wellness technologies.
If you have a medical condition, health concern, or uncertainty about whether a treatment is appropriate for you, we recommend consulting your physician or qualified healthcare provider before receiving treatment.
Contraindications listed on our website or discussed during consultations may not include every possible medical condition, medication interaction, or individual risk.
Certain services may be performed under medical supervision or according to applicable professional protocols. Medical claims and treatment recommendations must be evaluated by an appropriately licensed healthcare professional.
2. Medical Emergencies
In the event of a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
Our spa services are not a substitute for emergency medical evaluation or treatment.
3. Client Acknowledgment, Assumption of Risk & Liability
Our aesthetic and wellness technologies, including PEMF, infrared heat, light therapies, lasers, ultrasound, UV tanning, and other equipment, are offered for their intended cosmetic or wellness purposes.
These services are not represented as cures for medical conditions.
Clients are encouraged to disclose relevant health conditions, medications, sensitivities, and other concerns before treatment and to consult their healthcare provider when appropriate.
By choosing to receive our services, clients acknowledge that treatments may involve inherent risks, individual responses can vary, and results are not guaranteed.
Clients are expected to follow preparation instructions, safety guidelines, treatment protocols, and aftercare recommendations provided by our staff.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, clients acknowledge and accept the ordinary risks associated with services they voluntarily receive.
Any applicable liability release, indemnification agreement, or informed consent must be documented separately and signed when required. Nothing in this policy waives rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived.
4. Equipment Sanitation & Facility Hygiene
To maintain a clean environment for clients and staff:
- Equipment Sanitation: Tanning equipment and applicable treatment surfaces are cleaned and disinfected between clients using appropriate disinfecting products and procedures.
- Facility Cleaning: Frequently touched surfaces, treatment areas, retail counters, and restrooms are cleaned and disinfected regularly.
- Safety Procedures: Our staff follows established hygiene, equipment-maintenance, and infection-prevention procedures appropriate to the services provided.
5. Illness Screening & Client Safety
For the protection of our clients and employees, we may conduct a brief wellness screening or ask health-related questions before treatment.
Clients experiencing symptoms of a potentially contagious illness, including fever, persistent or unexplained cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, or other symptoms suggesting an active contagious illness, may be asked to postpone their appointment until symptoms have resolved or they have received appropriate medical clearance.
Our staff reserves the right to reschedule services when a client’s condition may present a safety concern.
